RigExpert AA-30 - HF Antenna Analyzer (0.1 to 30 MHz)
RigExpert AA-54 - HF
Antenna Analyzer (0.1 to 54 MHz)
RigExpert AA-30 and AA-54 are powerful antenna analyzers designed for testing, checking, tuning or repairing antennas and antenna feedlines. Mainly, these are SWR (Standing Wave Ratio) and impedance measurement instruments (vector impedance analyzers). Easy-to use measurement modes, as well as additional features such as connection to a personal computer (to plot Smith charts, etc.), make RigExpert AA-30 and AA-54 attractive for professionals and hobbyists. It is quite important that graphical display of various parameters over a wide frequency range is a key feature of these analyzers which significantly reduces the time required to adjust an antenna. The following tasks are easily accomplished by using RigExpert AA-30 and AA-54:

I am so glad I did not purchase an MFJ-259, etc. The AA-54 is so much more superior in every regard. Repeatable results and versatile too. It feels good quality and I have used it many times, more than I ever thought. Highly recommended.

NEEDS a proper, padded carry bag available - this is a $350+ tool!

The more I use the AA54, the more uses I find for it. Response to e-mails is very fast.

The AA 54 has been a valuable addition to my toolbox and work bench. It has allowed me see "whats going on" with my antennas. Best of all, it has helped me understand the theory a bit better, and that is a good thing.

Seems to me absolutely brilliant, and so easy to use with or without a computer. Also well supported with updates. Fast service and delivery from Canada.

It would be good if the AA-54 could go to 60Mhz. When testing 6m response it would be good to be able to see the response roll off at the top end of the band. At the moment it stops at 54Mhz which is OK but it would be good to see what the response is just a little higher.

What a tool! Now I better understand the impact of transmission line leingth on tuning & SWR! Would like to see more than just 1 previous sweep on the screen at the same time... Outstanding product... /DL

I own 5 analyzers ( two of which are RE models AA-230Pro and AA-30, two AEA and one Palstar). For the hard-earned money you spend, I would recommend RigExpert for ease of use, accuracy, repeatability, reliability and on screen and computer displays (the latter with FREE software!).

Would make the purchase again. My AA-54 is one of the best purchases in years. As stand alone or using the PC I get quick accurate information. Just in making my 160M loop better it is worth it.

I'm very happy with the RE AA-54, as JG1EIQ states; much much better than the MFJ analyser and has full functionality without any PC. It's very accurate, I can't live without it anymore. In the Rx and Z scan (option 5), I would like to be able to set the Y-axis range (maybe auto range would be even better).

It is much better than MFJ's Product.
