RigExpert AA-600 - Antenna Analyzer (0.1 to 600 MHz)

RigExpert AA-1000 - Antenna Analyzer (0.1 to 1000 MHz)

RigExpert AA-1400 - Antenna Analyzer (0.1 to 1400 MHz)

RigExpert AA-600, AA-1000 and AA-1400 are powerful antenna analyzers designed for testing, checking, tuning or repairing antennas and antenna feedlines.

Graphical SWR (Standing Wave Ratio) and impedance, as well as Smith/polar chart displays are key features of these analyzers which significantly reduce the time required to adjust an antenna.

Easy-to use measurement modes, as well as additional features such as connection to a personal computer make RigExpert AA-600, AA-1000 and AA-1400 attractive for professionals and hobbyists.

AA-600, AA-1000 and AA-1400 are available in non-US version (with ability to display Smith chart) and US version (displaying a polar chart instead).

The following tasks are easily accomplished by using these analyzers:

  • Rapid check-out of an antenna
  • Tuning an antenna to resonance
  • Antenna SWR and impedance measurement and comparison before and after specific event (rain, hurricane, etc.)
  • Making coaxial lines or measuring their parameters
  • Cable testing and fault location
  • Measuring capacitance or inductance of reactive loads

I have a post comment, after excessively using the Analyzer. Using 3x eneloop AA Cells powers the analyzer for more than a day, and even after weeks or months of not using it, the Eneloop Cells keep the charge.
For the people, who cannot measure at the antenna feedpoint. (mast top etc.). You can calibrate the analyzer including the cable, so that the analyzer sees the antenna only! (Impedance transformation thru the cable). What a great feature. Further I can encourage people to check their BALUNs with the analyzer. Doing this with it, gives you not only the information how bad the BALUN works at the higher frequencies, it tells you also how you can compensate your optimized self made to its best. It helped me to improve the transmition power efficiency of everything which is between the transceiver and the antenna. It tells you every little mistake you do with RF transmition lines inside a home made box. It tells you, how bad your tuners are when you do NOT tune! Instead of SWR=1 you will be surprised what reading you have. Easy to use, even weeks of no usage! Rigexpert people: Well done (2nd time!) 73!

I own a rigexpert-1000 and use it for my work as GMDSS radio inspector and also at Oil and gas platforms in the Northsea. It is a perfect tool, not only for the radio-HAM but also for the radio professional. Excellent!

The AA-600 tells you more than you want to know, hi! And considering a very long lifetime, AA-Cells, which the device is powered, will exist probably for ever. Fully stand alone operation with storage of the measurement for later PC-Screen visualization and documentation is a very nice advantage against some other competitive products. Perfect and super easy userinterface!
Simply: A PHANTASTIC THING! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! OE1JHB, 73!

I will like to know if you guys plan to have a unit to work in the 1200 to 1300 mhz ham band or if the AA-1000 will get to work that far out of the specs.
thanks

I have had the AA-230 for about 9 months now and would not have any other device besides this for antennas. It has never failed me, and is extremely rugged and accurate (see my you tube videos)

I have updated from an AA-520. The higher frequency range is very useful for my work. So far, after 1 week, I find the AA-1000 extremely good and very accurate when compared to much more expensive equipment here at my work.
Well done. Highly recommended piece of kit.
